This photo was taken in my bathroom. I put one some crazy eye makeup and lipstick, put my hair up, and stood against my shower curtain and took pictures of myself until I found an aesthetically pleasing one. Since the shower curtain was white, I blended into it pretty well, so my face sort of came into the background when I increased the brightness. Along with increasing the brightness, I also increased the saturation and made just the eyes colored. Everything but the eyes and eyebrows is black and white. I also edited out some sides of my face so that they would blend better into the background.

This is a beautiful, perfectly edited piece. The warm oranges around the eyes are the perfect contrast to the white background, which is very cleanly cut and blended with the face. I would never have thought to try something like this, and I really look forward to seeing more of your work. -JB SPHS
I really love this photo. The title fits this picture perfectly. I really like how everything is black and white except for around the eye so it draws your attention to only focus to the eyes. The eyes have a very appealing, warm-hearted glow to them. Excellent picture.Ii wouldn't change anything. A job well done!
This photo is almost ghostly, I like it a lot. Because you’ve merged you face with the background, your eyes stand out almost eerily as the center of focus. I love how you made your eyes the only part with color, except the tinge on the lips. Overall I think this is an awesome photo. Great job!
